William Shakespeare s The Play Everyman - 1275 Words

The play â€Å"Everyman† is a representative work depicting virtues of mid century Europe. This play brings with it a strong influence of the mid century Christianity. â€Å"Everyman† specifically portrayed vividly the reaction of human beings in the face of death. Its deep discussion into the worth of living and philosophical interpretations has surpassed category of religion at the time. It involved every person who’s ever thought about the meaning of life. Similarly, we can also see the shadow of a philosophical trace in Christopher Marlowe’s play, Doctor Faustus. The play personifies good and evil. The devil will fight for the soul of human beings, while our soul remain indecisive. Soon after, high lights appeared in the instance when the soul makes a decision. Even though both works are excellent, but I fell that Dr. Faustus made a bigger impact on me. Although both work revolved around death, sins, and judgment of God when He tries to save our soul, why then exists such huge discrepancy in the artistic work and reader reactions? Everyman and Doctor Faustus both started questioning God because of human’s self-conceit (sin). Men tried to catch up, and surpass God, but with different endings in each play. Bearing all these factors in mind, Zeus services aims to provide a one-stop solution to all wedding events for persons of all religions and beliefs. As event managers, Zeus Creations would be involved in all pre wedding dilemmas including creating a guest list, checking RSVPs, confirming the guest list and venue, decoration of the venue, transportation to the venue, accommodation of guests, and scheduling pick-ups and drops as per their travel plans; meeting special request like wheel chairs and so on if any; ensuring availability of a duty doctor for any minor emergencies that may occur, lighting at the venue, menu, seating arrangements and circulating gift lists as well as pre wedding bachelorette and bachelor parties; dress trails; and so on as well as post wedding cleaning up activities. Target audience segment analysis While the super rich tend to have lavish and extravagant weddings without a though of the costs involved or being bothered about the nitty-grittys due to their complete dependence on wedding planners, the middle class tends to be burdened with the need to ensure that wedding expenses remain within budget, without causing any embarrassment to any of the concerned parties; while simultaneously making sure the day is special and memorable. Alternative styles of creative advertising Creative advertising is not limited to a handout/ brochure or standout stall at an exhibition. Gifting a mug to all couples who attend the initial meeting regardless of their willingness to go ahead with the services being offered by Zeus Services is also an innovative and creative method (Blakeman 2014) of ensuring that both the company and its services remain on the minds of all the potential customer regardless of their initial response. A guestbook with signatures and social media ids like Facebook, Instagram, of all attendees is a great place to being the creative advertisement campaign (Castronovo and Lei 2012). This could include pictures of customized wedding cakes, venue decoration including lighting, interesting mementoes and invitation cards and so on. These would act as an inducement to all potential clients. Hence the maximum focus would be concentrated on creating a social media presence and influencing potential clients to meet up personally for discussions before availing the services being offered by Zeus Services. Social media is all about building relationships rather than direct selling. An understanding of this element of social media marketing is important before embarking in this direction. Results from a social media campaign would not be quantifiable or out in the open. The idea that Zeus Services is trustworthy and reliable needs to be communicated to all potential clients on an ongoing basis through the advertisement campaign. Then alone would they be willing to trust the company with such a critical service. Employing a PR would an effective and positive step in this direction. Evaluation of IMC plan effectiveness The effectiveness of media plans need to be evaluated and measured in order to determine whether it is effective or needs to be changed in any manner (Castronovo and Lei 2012). While the media plan would vary across various industries and verticals, it is essential that the media plan be in tandem with the organizational capabilities, objectives goals and vision (Hartley and Pickton 2010). Any deviation from this would lead to heavy losses for the company. The effectiveness of the media plan would be seen in the reach achieved. In other words, the number of potential clients who have been reached through the various communication initiatives would determine the effectiveness of the media plan (Peltier, Schibrowsky and Schultz 2003). The efforts on Instagram drew a considerable response and Zeus Services was able to host a small meet for 75 potential clients during the second week of the campaign. This response assures the management that the campaign and communication has been reasonably effective (Castronovo and Lei 2012). The client meet lead to more than five times the number of references as well as opening meeting with 7 clients scheduled for the next week. I refer to this training as informal cause this training is the type that you learn through your own perception of gathered information. How the police officer reacts can be based on their informal or formal training as well as the officers own motivations, like fear, physical abilities and adrenaline, which can aka over at any time. One could look at other statistical research to prove the theory that African Americans and other non-white ethnic groups are more criminal and the findings are not biased, but fact.Based on research that I found, our statistics show that in the last twenty years there has been a higher reporting of Black and Hispanic drivers at traffic stops than Whites in most cities, but the report also shows that when White motorists were searched, they were the least likely in comparison to Blacks and Hispanics to be found with illegal items such as drugs or weapons. Officials argue African Americans and other ethnic groups are more criminal and this is Just the facts, plain and simple, biased judgment or not.Some of the most common complaints and reports that could show potential evidence of racial profiling include; police officers stopping a vehicle because he or she driving and/or the passengers did not match the type of the vehicle they were occupying, police officers stopping those people of color while traveling through predominantly White areas, and by far the most common complaint y the members of the community of color is that they are being stopped for petty traffic violations such as under inflated tires, failure to signal properly before switching lanes, vehicle equipment failures, speeding less than 10 miles above the speed limit, or having an illegible license plate. All of these acts have occurred and can be labeled as racial profiling, but officers standard form of protocol accepts biased decision making. Again, dont forget that the Supreme Court has given the police officers the right to pull anyone over. To say that one is implementing tankard protocol procedures is, in my opinion, a play on words of what is actually occurring. Since the late asss some law enforcement agencies have implemented training and overseeing actions as they occur. Typical protocol for a traffic stop today involves use of these new guidelines. Today a routine traffic stop includes, the officer advising the dispatcher via radio that a traffic stop is being made, indicating the reason for the stop, telling the dispatcher gender and race of the person driving the vehicle, and whether the driver is an adult or a Juvenile. The new guidelines that eave been implemented were done so to scale the statistics and train officers to refrain from basing decisions on any bias they might have.Most states, including Tennessee, have also issued cameras to be mounted in the police vehicles to further ensure the rights of the individuals are not being compromised and to maintain control of the officers decisions. Several bills have been submitted into the court system in an effort to pass laws prohibiting racial profiling and allowing for punishment if found guilty. One such bill, S. 989, was introduced on June 6, 2001 by he state of Wisconsin. This bill was sent from the Senate committee to the Committee on the Judiciary Subcommittees on Constitution for further evaluation. Another bill sent to the Senate in efforts to attack racial profiling was submitted by the state of Kansas.This bill received Senate approval on February 23, 2005. The bill declares, It is illegal for law enforcement officers to profile suspects based only on their race, ethnicity, nationality, gender or religious dress. The bill will permit people who believe they have been profiled to make a complaint with the law enforcement agency, in which the agency under scrutiny could face lawsuits or become ineligible for the state grants if officers engage in profiling. The bill originally proposed that punishment for any officer found guilty of racial profiling would be categorized as a misdemeanors and receives possible Jail time, but the law enforcement groups objected and legislators rewrote the measure.The bill now states that any officer found guilty of racial profiling will receive Jail time, largely fined, never allowed back into any law controlling position, and the organization in which they were employed will be fined as well. Senate voters who approved the bill believe the bill will set precedence for the end of racial profiling. In conclusion, I find it hard to believe that we will ever experience a world without a nonbiased controlling society, but I know the importance of our actions and how we can strive to create a society that is less likely to predict actions based on skin color, gender, or religion. By understanding others ideals, we can change the way we react.
